A one hour meeting with your employee to inform them about Leeton, our events, community resources available and discuss their community needs and social interests. To accommodate flexibility this one hour meeting can be scheduled between: 7:30am - 7:00pm Mon - Friday & 1:00pm - 4:00pm on Saturdays.
The meeting can take place at the employee’s workplace (if scheduled during work hours) or at a public hospitality place of choice. i.e. local café, pub or club.
With the information provided at the initial meeting, we will create a community integration plan that will have an overview of your employees interests and community needs. Tailoring the plan to provide suggested community groups to contact and events/activities to attend.
Knowing what is on and when can be the hardest part to moving to a new community. Many of our local organisations and groups have a newsletter that provides information about upcoming events in Leeton and the Riverina. Finding the right ones of interest for your employee and adding them to the newsletter list will help them gain local knowledge faster.
Within approximately two weeks, schedule a follow up meeting with your employee and talk through their Tailored Community Integration Plan. Allowing the opportunity to ask questions and understand what is available in the community.
With each Personalised Package, we aim to build a database of newcomers and their interest. This will help us create smaller social activities that could assist in fostering new friendships with locals and newcomers to the community.
Work and family commitments makes it is easy to get too busy to engage into a new community. Checking in with your employee allows them to reengage with their plan and provide their employer with an update on their community needs.

"The introduction to Leeton life, connections made and the information stated is invaluable, realistic and give by individuals who shared their personal experiences."
"Great work, this event showed me what Leeton is all about and what it has to offer. I would suggest it to any new people to the area and even people who have lived here for a while. It is very easy to not see what is on offer in your own community."
"I thought the food and wine testing process was very interesting, with these tours being very informative. I enjoyed meeting new people. I was surprised seeing how much Leeton actually produces. I would encourage any newcomers to do this - the sooner the better - to maximise value."
"I got to go places and see things I wouldn’t if I explored on my own. Every town needs this service for new people settling in! What a great way to find out what your new town has to offer."
"I had the privilege of attending Novembers Localise and socialise event. Throughout the day i learnt many interesting facts and information about the township of Leeton and what the town has on offer for new and existing residents, as well as building on my current knowledge of the town. Localise you values their users and gives them a uniquely wide range of knowledge and information about the town that you may not receive or see else where, as well as developing new contacts and connections throughout the event. I would highly recommend if you are new to Leeton or would like to familiarise yourself more on what Leeton has to offer, to attend one of these events as you won’t be disappointed!"
"Yes, the event was a nice change of pace and there were some really interesting people attending."
